
Our client is the largest independent distributor of cleaning and hygiene materials in the UK, with branches in Peterborough, Nottingham, Ipswich and Enfield. Their client's fall into 9 sectors, healthcare, hotels, restaurants, leisure, schools, Industry, facilities, government and contract cleaning. Due to continuous expansion, we are looking to introduce skilled account handlers to their business.
As an established company, they have a team of account handlers and customer service representatives, however they are looking to expand their business and grow their teams to cope with the new revenue. You will take inbound calls from customers in your designated region. You will take orders and then introduce the client to new lines of products and service. You will be dealing with accounts worth £50-£20k, so you must be adaptable and capable of talking to all types of people at all levels.
We ideally want candidates who have previously worked in a telephone sales function, ideally business to business. You might have done a telesales role or worked in disconnections for a mobile phone company. Possibly someone from a pressurized credit control background or even recruitment. Whatever the background, you need to be articulate, able to empathise and to understand the client's needs. A friendly manner is essential.
