Position Overview
Reporting to the National Account Director, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing new National business across a variety of sectors including Public Sector, Leisure/Hospitality, FM/Cleaning, Retail.
Main Responsibilities
To win new business through development of prospect pipeline
To win new business achieved through allocated tender activity
To work with other departments to ensure all new business submissions are prepared and submitted on time and represent IWS in a professional and positive manner
To transition won clients across to existing National Account Management team
Production of Monthly Reports within required timescales for National Account Director
Production of pipeline/sales forecast reports
Currently working in "Business Services" environment
High levels of literacy and numeracy
Organisational skills, ability to prioritise and adhere to deadlines
Ability to work under pressure, strong self management skills and evidence of excellent time management.
A proactive, professional and ambitious attitude
A good team player with an open and approachable manner
New business sales experience within a "Key / National Accounts" environment
Strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications – Word, Excel, Powerpoint
