
Established 1972 and now the biggest in UK, our client is part of the largest recruitment company in the world. They have a database of over 350000 candidates and can offer additional services (e.g. testing on hundreds of skills, Computer based training, Campaign management etc…). They have 450 staff over 21 locations.
WHAT MAKES THE COMPANY SPECIAL?
One of you main responsibilities will be selling our clients services to clients and candidates. Our client has a strong reputation and an existing client base; you will receive all the support you need. You will be expected to do new business, however there are a lot of warm / luke-warm leads that can be worked to your benefit. It is approximately a 50/50 split of new to existing accounts. 95% of the permanent work my client does is contingency based, however there is some retained work– and if retained work is your specialist area, then this is will be welcomed. Consultants are encouraged to meet all clients and candidates when convenient. Helping take care of client's long-term needs you will manage recruitment-advertising campaigns, which involves handling the ad response, conducting screening interviews and managing candidates. Our client also holds assessment days for their clients and act as consultants on staff planning, training and development.

We are looking for someone with recruitment experience. Our client's preference is someone sharp, intelligent and confident. Ideally you will have some IT knowledge, but this is not essential as you can learn the technical aspect of the role. We prefer candidates with a degree but this also is not essential. You must be tenacious as well as patient and polite.
