THE COMPANY:
Our client is the market leader in the provision of parts washing, spray gun cleaning and waste services to the industrial and automotive sectors.
As well as providing a complete national service to the customer, providing advice, training, waste identification, carriage and onward disposal for the small and medium producer. This disposal will follow the accepted 'waste hierarchy' and 'best practice' where practicable, in addition to the full compliance with applicable current legislation and regulations.
THE ROLE:
We are looking for a sales specialist to work from their Basildon branch. Your role will be field based and will involve the sales of specialist parts washers and break cleaning machines into small and large companies within the automotive, aerospace and industrial sectors.
There is a large existing customer base that can be attacked for upgrades and up sells. You will also be expected to cold call new businesses with a view to offering them a FREE TRIAL before committing to a contract. You will work closely with an internal telesales person who will book appointments for you.
You will be negotiating with shop floor managers, chief engineers, shop floor staff, mechanics, buyers etc.
The role required you to plan your own route, to book your own appointments and measure yourself on your individual performance.
THE CANDIDATE:
We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 years business to business field sales experience in any sector. You will have a track record of selling face to face and ideally within the industrial sector. You must live the Northern side of the Wash, we will consider people based in and around London also as your patch will encompass this area.
